Do I need to sign up or call ahead to tour the wildlife center?

You do not need to do anything ahead of time to visit Rizzo’s Wildlife World. Stop by during any of our open hours for a semi-guided tour of our wildlife center, where you can feed, touch, and even hold select animals!

How is a birthday party typically scheduled?

Once all of your guests arrive, they will be ushered into our animal gallery. They will have approximately 25 minutes to walk around, look at the animals, and ask questions. Your guests will then move to the presentation area for a 55 minute wild animal show. Finally, your guests will enjoy 45 minutes in our party room.

Is there an age requirement for the shows?

No. We love to entertain people of all ages, from 1 to 100.

How many animals will be brought to the show?

Our presenters will typically bring about 9 animals for a 1 hour program.

Can children touch the animals?

Yes, children will be able to pet select animals. Our wildlife presenters will let them know which animals they can touch, and how to do so safely

What animals will come to the show?

Each presenter selects animals for their shows a little differently. A wildlife program will include a combination of snakes, lizards, insects, turtles, frogs, and mammals. If there is a specific animal you would really love to see, please ask. We will do our very best to accommodate your request.

Are tips included in the price of the show?

Tips are not included or expected, but are always appreciated.

Will the animals bite?

Our animals are very much used to being handled and being around people. That said, they are still animals and should be respected at all times. Our presenter will guide the guests on how to properly pet our animal friends.

Are you open to the public?

Yes! We are open to the public every day (except for Mondays). Admission is just $10 per person 2+ years of age.
